Ancillary Task - My Film Posters

Ancillary Tasks - Drafts
I decided that I would make some quick examples of what I think my poster should look like in order to receive some feedback about what my poster needs and the emotions it conveys to the audience.
To create my examples I decided to use a web page called 'Canva'. This website was extremely helpful as if helped my to create some of the effects that I wanted to put onto my poster and it also enable me to create different types of posters.
This is the first poster that I created. This poster would be featured in a magazine article and would be used to promote the film in a magazine/newspaper. I decided that I would fade the background slightly as I wanted it to appear as though nothing or something's aren't real which gives a slight clue to the film plot but is not a massive giveaway. I decided that instead of featuring the writer, director, etc that I would focus more on when it is premiering and where they can find more information on the film. I thought that it would be a good idea to make to poster seem 'empty' and blank, as this would help me to convey the emotions that I wanted.

This is the second poster that I made. This poster would be used to promoted the film through bus stops and to be displayed on a website. For this poster, I decided to use a filter over the image to create a different effect and see what feeling and emotions it conveys to the audience. I decided that like my first poster I would include a web address where they can find more information about the film. However, I also decided to include some social media symbols to show that this film is up-to-date and that they are also able to look and follow on social media such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. I decided that I would also make this poster quitter blank and not involve and descriptive information as I wanted to leave people wanting to find out more and then they would therefore use the web address or social media to find out more information.

This is the third poster that I decided to create. This poster would be featured on a Billboard or on a Bus to promote the film. I decided that this image would be good to use as it makes the woman appear as though she's not there almost as if she's ghost of who she used to be. This is the most empty poster I created as this helps to create the feeling of emptiness and loneliness.

This is the forth and final poster that I created. This poster would be used in shopping centers and cinema's. This poster features the image I edited and it is a slightly faded versions thanks to an effect I used. This poster is good as it uses reviews from newspaper and from bloggers that would help the audience gain a idea of the film and what people have thought about it. This poster is also very plain as it only features a title, release date and some reviews. I decided to do this because it means that people's attentions are draw to the title and face of the woman.
